Description: Skin tinted blue, metallic wings.
THE ATOM:
Notes: It's been almost 4 months since Ray Palmer has returned to Ivy Town from the Amazon Jungles. He's recently discovered that rogue factions of the CIA initiated: Project Fireball, a slash-and-burn operation that resulted in the destruction of his jungle home and the death of his lover, Princess Laethwen. He has since captured the guilty operatives permanently shrinking them down to a diminutive size. Ray Palmer has chosen to stay in Ivy Town to rebuild his life, rather than leave town to start a new one.
BEAST:
Description: Classic Blue version. He has not mutated into a canine form.
CORONA (PC):
Description: Mutant with Fire-based Powers
Identity: Secret
Legal Status: Wanted for Questioning
Team Affiliation: Former X-Man, resides at the Xavier Estate for further training.
Status: Corona is currently wanted for questioning in connection with a rash of suspicious fires that took place in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and for a series of more recent fires that have been occuring in New York City's Chinatown.
LADY HAZE (PC):
Description: Human with the god-given gift of Air Control, bestowed by Aelus, and his father Poseidon.
Identity: Public, Stefanie Haize
Legal Status: No Criminal Record
Team Affiliation: None
Status: After training with Wonder Woman on Paradise Island, Lady Haze moved to Manhattan, where she is prophesied to unite with three other beings who control an elemental force. She's currently trying to track down the fire-wielding mutant Corona, as she believes he's one of the beings that she's destined to meet.
STRIKE (Original Character):
Description: Muscular mutant with density control and super-strength powers. Notes: Strike has been questioning whether to become a costumed hero since discovering his mutant abilities in his home city of New Orleans. After hurricane Katrina, Strike and his surviving family and friends were relocated to Gotham City where billionare Bruce Wayne had set up a charity to aid the victims with housing, job training, and financial assistance. Believing reports that Corona was responsible for the New Orleans arsons, Strike tracked him down in New York City's Chinatown, where Corona was able to convince him of his innocence.
X-MEN:

Mission/Objective: To train mutants in the use of their superhuman powers, to hide and protect mutants from those who fear them, and to safeguard humanity from attacks by superhuman "evil” or criminal mutants and other threats too great to be fought by conventional forces.
Organization: X-Men are selected for each mission based on capabilities and availability.
Notes: The X-Men and the Xavier Institute was never outed to the public. M-Day never happened.
VANGUARD (Original Character):
Description: Costumed vigilante who looks suspiciously like Baron Zemo in his Citizen V guise.
Notes: Due to his costumed appearance, and his prior association with Corona, Vanguard came under attack by the Daily Bugle, which accused him of being a costumed villain. Vanguard, apparently believing the Bugle's reports about Corona, attacked him, but the battle was interrupted by authorities and a truce was called so that both could escape. |
